Lee Rendeiro brings extensive experience in the field of patents, and a determined professional outlook on the legal aspect of this industry. He has strong experience in exploring new technological advancements, and recognizing viable opportunities in the legal world of patents. He has been involved in multiple successful cases of prosecution and litigation in this field, and has been a valuable employee at each organization his career has taken him through over the years.
Rendeiro’s career started as the Master/Lead technician and product support manager at the Eaton Corporation, where he provided engineering services focused on improving the company’s current line of products. He also assisted members of the company’s call team, and handled multiple projects at various levels of the organization. He was also able to negotiate support with several different business groups, and managed a system of customer reviews.
In 2010, after nearly 10 years at the Eaton Corporation, Rendeiro moved to Navistar where he worked as a product launch engineer, responsible for the research, test and implementation of products and cost-saving methodologies. He took customer requests and transformed them into workable specifications, and performed in-depth analysis on major customer issues in order to ensure that the company can provide the most adequate possible response. Rendeiro was also responsible for training team members and improving the company’s overall skills for project management.
At Allegiant International, Rendeiro worked as a project engineering manager and quality engineer. His job involved both technical as well as legal challenges, as he was responsible for drafting non-disclosure agreements and personally created contracts for employees and independent contractors. Rendeiro proposed several agreements with suppliers, many of which the company ultimately adopted successfully, and was able to negotiate contracts with multiple vendors. Rendeiro successfully oversaw the improvement of the company’s performance in multiple sites, including Canada, US and Mexico. He oversaw his own team of production employees, and additionally directed a team of CNC machine repair specialists.
Rendeiro’s next position was at Tenneco as a launch manager, where he successfully managed a $4-million customer tooling account, and coordinated cross-functional areas of the company’s operations. He additionally drove change to different systems for the purposes of some of the company’s cost-reduction projects, and was able to align internal targets with the actual market expectations.
For the next two years, Rendeiro worked for the Tuthill Corporation as a manufacturing engineer, where he drafted letters of intent and proposed design agreements. He was also responsible for reviewing contracts and he coordinated various non-disclosure agreements and their implementation. Rendeiro was also responsible for negotiating the timing of contract, and participated in the design reviews of various new products.
At the Rieke Corporation, where Rendeiro worked for the next two years, he developed design alternatives to allow the company to respond to prior art available on the market, and led teams with diverse functionalities. He monitored the progress of different teams and developed plans to address issues with the timing of different projects. He was also tasked with communicating the progress of different projects to higher-ups in the organization.
His most recent venture was as a patent attorney at Taylor IP, where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications, while also preparing clearance and patentability opinions. Rendeiro has also advised clients on appropriate courses of action regarding the company’s operations, and has personally provided IP counseling to some of the company’s clients. He was additionally responsible for assembling foreign applications for a US patent filing, and has been handling his tasks with strong commendation from his higher-ups, producing quantifiable good results and improving the company’s overall standing on the market by a huge margin in multiple regards.
